Worth noting that the MOH does not cover medical consultations on an outpatient basis for mental patients, but rather medications for mental illnesses are provided through the Drug Dispensing Center in Karantina following a case study from a specialized committee. Also, for inpatients, coverage is based on days-stay and not on capitation basis, because of patients’ turnover during the year.
