الرؤيا:

بناء نظام صحي متكامل، يتمحور حول الناس، ويعمل على تعزيز أعلى مستوى ممكن من الوضع الصحي للسكان والمحافظة عليه من خلال ضمان التغطية الصحية الشاملة مع معالجة المحدّدات الاجتماعية للصحة.

الرسالة:

ستعمل وزارة الصحة بالشراكة مع جميع الجهات المعنية، ووفقًا لمبادىء الحكم الرشيد، على تنمية قدراتها المؤسسية للإدارة الفعالة للقطاع الصحي، وضمان تعزيز صحة أفضل وتوفير خدمات نوعية صحية عادلة وفعّالة في القطاعَين العام والخاص تلبّي تطلّعات واحتياجات الناس المشروعة، مع التركيز بوجه خاص على السكان الفقراء، والمحرومين والمستضعفين، وبالتالي المساهمة في التنمية المستدامة للبلاد.

الاهداف:

تسعى الوزارة إلى البحث عن نهج مشترك بين القطاعات وستتعاون مع الوزارات الأخرى والقطاع الخاص والمجتمع المدني من أجل تحقيق الأهداف التالية:

حماية صحة السكان من خلال تشريع وتطوير برامج حماية الصحة وتعزيزها.
االمساهمة في شبكة الأمان الاجتماعي من خلال لعب دور الضامن كملاذ أخير.
تحسين فرص الحصول على الرعاية الصحية، وضمان تحقيق المساواة في توفير الخدمات واستخدامها وحماية صحة الفئات الأكثر ضعفًا.
القضاء والسيطرة على الأمراض المعدية وغير المعدية المنتشرة في البلاد.
توعية الشعب وتثقيفه من أجل تشجيع اعتماد أنماط حياة وعادات غذائية صحية.
التماس مشاركة أكبر وفعّالة للأفراد والمجتمعات المحلية في تخطيط وتطبيق وتقييم الرعاية الصحية الاولية وبرامج الصحة العامة.
تطوير المرافق الصحيّة بما في ذلك المستشفيات ومراكز الرّعاية الصحّية الأولية والمختبرات وجميع المؤسسات الصحية الأخرى على جميع المستويات، وربط هذه المرافق من خلال نظام إحالة فعّال.
ضمان توفّر إمدادات مناسبة وموثوق بها من أدوية فعّالة ومراقبة جودتها وتعزيز استخدامها الرشيد.
تحسين إدارة النظام الصّحي وتحسين نوعية خدمات الرعاية الصحية وفعّاليتها من حيث التّكلفة.
تعزيز تنمية الموارد البشرية للرعاية الصحّية بهدف استغلال القوى العاملة الصحية على النحو الأمثل.
تعزيز بحوث الأنظمة الصحّية من أجل تحسين الخدمات الصحّية.
