The Information Office of the Ministry of Public Health issued the following statement:

A medical dispensary at Wadi El Zayni located in Chouf District was closed by Health inspectors form the Ministry of Public with the help of the internal security forces. The dispensary operated without a valid license from the Ministry of Public Health and the doctors working were not Lebanese. Meanwhile, the inspectors thought they heard sounds of firing but found later that they came from a social ceremony.

The Ministry of Public Health asserts that it won’t be tolerate the dispensaries that don’t abide by the law and will continue its campaigns in this regard. For any violation, call the Ministry’s hotline at 1214.
