A Delegation from the General Labor Union in Lebanon Visited the Minister of Public Health

 
زار وفد من الإتحاد العمالي العام برئاسة الدكتور بشارة الأسمر وعضوية الأمين العام سعد الدين حميدي صقر وزير الصحة العامة في حكومة تصريف الأعمال الدكتور فراس الأبيض. ولفت الاتحاد العمالي في بيان، الى أن الوفد استعرض "الواقع الصحي الصعب الذي يعيشه العمال والمواطنون في ظل الظروف الإقتصادية الصعبة التي تمر بها البلاد". وأشار الى أن الوفد "اشاد بخطوات وزير الصحة الآيلة الى:
 
  1. دعم المستشفيات الحكومية والعاملين فيها على مختلف الصعد لما تؤديه من دور كبير للفقراء والعمال وذوي الدخل المحدود.
  2. تنفيذ مشروع الرعاية الصحية الأولية مع البنك الدولي وإطلاق البطاقة الصحية لأكثر من مئتي ألف مستفيد مع إمكانية زيادة هذا العدد بصورة دائمة ومستمرة بالإستناد إلى إحصائيات وزارة الشؤون الإجتماعية حول الأسر الأكثر فقراً.
  3. توحيد العطاءات والمساعدات وعملية دفع قسم من الرواتب بالدولار الأميركي لجميع العاملين في القطاع الصحي بمختلف تسمياتهم الطبية والوطنية".

وحذّر الوفد أخيراً، "مما تسرّب عن تخفيض موازنة وزارة الصحة العامة لما يعنيه ذلك من تضاؤل الدعم للطبابة والإستشفاء والأمراض المستعصية"، مطالباً الحكومة "بدعم الوزارة المولجة بحماية الأمن الصحي والإستشفائي بهذه المرحلة".
