Daily Report on Covid-19 of 31/3/2020

 
Since February 21 to March 31, 2020, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, the laboratories of the university hospitals accredited by the Ministry and the listed private laboratories has reached 463; (An additional 17 cases have been confirmed since yesterday).

One new death case was recorded at Notre Dame de Secours University Hospital, bringing the total number of deaths to twelve. The deceased patient was in his 50s and suffered from chronic illness.

The Ministry of Public Health urges all the citizens to comply with the preventive measures, in particular adherence to home quarantine that has become an individual and social responsibility that every citizen should assume. Any person failing to fully comply with these measures will be exposed to legal prosecution.
