The Information Office of Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani issued the following statement:

“A non-Lebanese young woman arrived dead to “Our Lady of Lebanon” Hospital in Jounieh from a Beauty Hospital in Metn Coast.
The Ministry of Public headed immediately to the said Beauty Hospital where it set up a file on the case and asked to stop all operations of the Beauty Hospital by order of Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani, until the completion of the investigation of the Medical Care Directorate on this case. The report of the forensic doctor was also added to the file to determine the causes of death, and take the necessary action.”
