Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani is visiting Moscow, where he met with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Putin’s Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Mikhail Bogdanov who discussed with Hasbani the situation of the region, the political developments, and the pressing issues related to the Russian-Lebanese collaboration at different levels.

Hasbani introduced the Syrian Displacement issue in Lebanon and stressed the importance of ensuring the safe return of Syrian people to their country through human support. He also emphasized the need to distance Lebanon from the regional and international conflicts.

Bogadov stressed the importance of settling the internal issues of Lebanon by the Lebanese themselves without external interference through a comprehensive dialogue, taking into consideration the interests of all the main political factions.
