Ghanem

“This is the eighth meeting of the administration and justice committee to study the so-called visa coverage card; the mandatory universal healthcare coverage suggested by Dr Atef Majdalani and studied by the Health committee. When H.E. Hasbani became Health Minister, he asked that this subject be more comprehensive. A study was conducted to include the majority of the Lebanese citizens,” stated the committee’s president.

Hasbani

“I would like to thank and congratulate the administration and justice committee for discussing the proposal of the law submitted by Deputy Atef Majdalani. The Ministry of Public Health made observations based on a recent study this year on the health coverage or the mandatory universal health care. The detailed study with experts includes many observations made on this subject to develop the system so as not to exclude any citizen from the universal coverage; primary health care, inpatient and outpatient services,” outlined Hasbani.

Majdalani

“I would like to thank my colleague Mr. Robert Ghanem, the president of the administration and justice committee for his help and seriousness in scheduling the meetings of the committee and contribution in the discussions. I thank as well Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani for the amendments of Health Ministry to expand the network of social and health solidarity in the proposal of the law we suggested in 2013,” said Majdalani.
