At the invitation of Director General of the Ministry of Public Health, the National committee of the observatory for maternal and neonatal mortality held its annual meeting to follow up all births that occurred on the Lebanese territories and the resulting maternal and child mortality. In this context, the Director General of the Ministry of Public Health, Pr. Walid Ammar honored Dr. Faysal El Kak, former president of the Lebanese society of Obstetrics and Gynecology in recognition of his efforts exerted in this field and his technical support for the Ministry of Public Health.
