New List of Drugs Pricing Reduction from 17/1/2019 till 1/2/2019
The Information Office of the Ministry of Public health issued the following statement:
The Ministry of Public Health published on its website the new drug price list that showed a price drop of more than 330 drugs by as much as 76% and an average of 21% according to the memoranda and decisions issued on 2018 on the drug pricing mechanism. More than 70 generic drugs will see a cost reduction over the next month, after 299 generic drugs experienced a price drop last December.
According to the memoranda issued on 2018, the ministry expects to review the prices of around 3,400 drugs over the course of 2019.
