Statement Denying Allegations of the Emergence of the First Case of Corona Virus Infection in Tripoli
The media office of the Minister of Public Health Dr. Hasan Hamad issued the following statement:
A first case of coronavirus infection in Tripoli, precisely in Abi Samra has been circulated on some social media and by whatsApp.
However, it was found that what was reported was completely baseless and only aimed at raising concerns among the citizens.
We reiterate our call to report news carefully and after verifying its accuracy with the concerned entities of the Ministry of Public Health. Every person posting or publishing any news shall be held responsible for the accuracy of the information.
