Since 21 February to 29 March 2020, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, the laboratories of the university hospitals accredited by the Ministry and the listed private laboratories has reached 438; (An additional 26 cases have been confirmed since yesterday).

Two patients who suffered from chronic illness died of coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to ten. One of them was receiving treatment at St. George Hospital and the second one was being treated at Hotel Dieu Hospital.

The Ministry of Public Health urges all the citizens to comply with the preventive measures, in particular adherence to home quarantine that has become an individual and social responsibility that every citizen should assume. Any person failing to fully comply with these measures will be exposed to legal prosecution.
