The Minister of Public Health Dr. Hamad Hasan held a series of meetings with the teams of the Ministry to proceed with the distribution of the medical supplies Lebanon has received from China and Qatar that include 3000 PCR exams and 200 thermometers, in addition to 11 tons of PPE kits to healthcare workers.
 
The next phase will be implemented in Lebanon as from tomorrow, according to which random PCR tests will be administered and medical kits will be handed over to the governmental hospitals. This will done as part of the Ministry’s plan that is mainly based on the increase of the number of tests to be carried out at random in different Lebanese regions, leading to an accurate representation of the pandemic phase and the suitable decisions.
 
Minister Hasan commended the extraordinary efforts of the teams of the Ministry who have been working hard even during holidays, since the national plan to fight the coronavirus came into effect.
