Introduction:
 
The Smoking Cessation Center at Hôtel-Dieu de France has a specialized consultation and support unit dedicated for smoking cessation and composed of a team of nurses, doctors, psychologists and nutritionists. Its objective is to medically support smokers willing to quit through weekly consultations and activities, follow up with hospitalized patients, spread awareness and partake in tobacco prevention campaigns on a national and international level

Introduction:
 
The smoking cessation program includes 10 sessions of counseling and therapy under the supervision of a certified psychotherapist, a dietician and a physician.

Sessions are based on international clinical guidelines that involve motivational sessions, learning behavior modification, nicotine replacement therapy and others.
