Abiad Receives the First Batch of Indian Medical Aid Amounting to 33 Tons


تسلم وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور فراس الابيض الدفعة الأولى من المساعدات الطبية الهندية التي تزن 33 طنًا إلى لبنان، كهدية من شعب وحكومة الهند بحضور سفير دولة الهند في لبنان محمد نور رحمن الشيخ, وذلك في المستودع المستحدث للمساعدات في البيال، في الواجهة البحرية لبيروت. 

وصل حتى الآن 11 طنًا من الإمدادات الطبية إلى بيروت وسيصل 22 طنًا اضافيا من الأدوية على دفعتين أخريين قريبًا.

تتكون الشحنة من مجموعة واسعة من المنتجات الصيدلانية، بما في ذلك أدوية القلب والأوعية الدموية ومضادات الالتهاب غير الستيرويدية والعوامل المضادة للالتهابات والمضادات الحيوية والمسكنات.

وفي تصريح له نوه الوزير الابيض بأهمية الهبة كونها مقدمة من الهند التي باتت معروفة بجودة تصنيع الأدوية مما يشكل دعما للبنان في هذا الظرف العصيب وزيادة مخزون وزارة الصحة لتواصل تقديم الرعاية الطبية المطلوبة للأهالي النازحين وتعزيز جهوزية المستشفيات التي تقدم الرعاية للجرحى.

وتوجه وزير الصحة العامة بالشكر للهند وسفيرها في لبنان للتضامن مع لبنان وشعبه في مواجهة العدوان الإسرائيلي والوقوف إلى جانب القطاع الصحي في لبنان. 

ونقل السفير شيخ أن المساعدات الإنسانية تؤكد تضامن الهند مع حكومة لبنان وشعبه وتؤكد التزامها بإقامة علاقات وثيقة وودية مع لبنان، مشيرًا إلى أن الهند شاركت في مؤتمر باريس  بشأن لبنان الذي عقد في 24 أكتوبر 2024 ودعمت البيان المشترك لمجموعة البريكس الصادر في 23 أكتوبر 2024 والذي يدعو إلى إنهاء الصراع بالوسائل الدبلوماسية. كما نقل أنه من المتوقع وصول المساعدات الغذائية من الهند قريبًا. وكما في السنوات 26 الماضية، تواصل الكتيبة الهندية العاملة في اليونيفيل والمكونة من 900 جندي مهمتها في تعزيز السلام  وتحقيق والاستقرار في جنوب لبنان.
