على اثر تسجيل 35 حالة تسمم في منطقة إقليم الخروب، قامت وزارة الصحة العامة بفتح تحقيق حيث سيتم أخذ عينات من مطعم "الخير" في سبلين، الذي تم اقفاله، للتأكد من مصدر التسمم واستمرار اقفاله الى حين صدور النتائج.

كما اوعزت وزارة الصحة لطبيب قضاء الشوف بمتابعة اوضاع المصابين بالتسمم في المستشفيات والاطمئنان على صحتهم.
