The MOPH Condemns the Attack on the Chief of ER at Hotel Dieu Hospital and Calls on the Public Prosecution Service to Take Action
The Information Office of the Ministry of Public issued the following statement:
The Ministry of Public Health condemns the attack on the Chief of ER at Hotel Dieu Hospital Dr. Chady Sabbagh and considers the assault on the medical personnel and human facility as an offence against the image of Lebanon.
The Ministry of Public Health called on the competent judicial authorities to prosecute perpetrators, conduct all the necessary investigations and judicial proceedings and punish them as severely as possible. It also called on the Public Prosecution Service to take immediate action and not to tolerate the perpetrators, especially that similar incidents took place in more than one health facility.
