إستقبل وزير الصحة العامة في حكومة تصريف الاعمال الدكتور حمد حسن في مكتبه في الوزارة، ممثلة منظمة الصحة العالمية في لبنان الدكتورة إيمان الشنقيطي، وتم البحث في مسار مواجهة وباء كورونا في المرحلة المقبلة وما سيتم اتباعه من إجراءات في فترة عيد الفطر السعيد، إضافة إلى ترتيبات تلقيح اليونيفل وموظفي منظمات الأمم المتحدة العاملة في لبنان.

ولفتت الشنقيطي إلى أن "المؤشرات تدل إلى تحسن في الواقع الوبائي، ولكن ذلك يجب ألا يشكل مبررا للتفلت خصوصا مع قرب حلول عيد الفطر السعيد". ونبهت من "تكرار الأخطاء التي حصلت قبل بضعة أشهر حيث أدى إهمال الإجراءات الوقائية إلى انفجار وبائي خطير، خصوصا أن الموجات الوبائية لم تتوقف عالميا في ظل وجود متحورات جديدة للفيروس". وكررت الدعوة إلى الإلتزام بالإجراءات الوقائية والإبتعاد عن التجمعات.
