Jabak Toured Al-Fanar Hospital and Promised to Transfer the Patients to other Hospitals

Minister of Public Health Dr. Jamil Jabak toured today Al-Fanar hospital’s facilities in Msaileh with the head of health Service of South Lebanon Dr. Jalal Haydar, the hospital’s physicians Dr. Hasan Toufaily and Dr. Majed Kinj, Head of Health Department in the district Dr. Bashar Chmaysani, the Ministry’s inspection Doctor Dr. Adlat Farhat and the Head of Medical Care Directorate Dr. Joseph El-Helou.

Jabak then held a press conference during which he stated that he couldn’t enter all the hospital’s departments “because of the bad smells and the disastrous living conditions at the hospital, such as the bedrooms, dining halls and bathrooms.” He also mentioned the shortage of water and electricity as he expressed his discontent with what he saw and promised to transfer the patients to the Ministry’s hospitals in no time.
