Hasbani and his Egyptian Counterpart Finalized the Final Version of a Cooperation Agreement within the Scope of Health and Medicine
The Information Office of Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani issued the following statement:
“Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani held a bilateral meeting with his Egyptian Counterpart Imad Eddine Radi, during which the final version for a Cooperation Agreement within the scope of Health and Medicine has been finalized between the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon and The Ministry of Health and Population in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In addition to Hasbani and Radi, the meeting was attended from the Lebanese side by Moph Director General Dr. Walid Ammar, Director General of the Ministry of Economy Mrs. Alia Abbas, Head of Primary Health Care Department Dr. Randa Hamadeh, Head of Pharmacy Service Dr. Colette Reaidy, The counselor to Health Minister Mr. Elie Zaitouny, and from the Egyptian side Head of Pharmacy Service, Economic and Protocol Relations Officer, and the Ambassador of Egypt to Lebanon.
Both parties agreed upon a series of practical steps towards the implementation of this cooperation. The first step will be the Lebanese visit to Egypt in the near future to sign the agreement that will offer the Lebanese Pharmaceutical Industry promising opportunities to enter the widest African Pharmaceutical market and enable the exchange of expertise in this field, in addition to many health fields.
