The MoPH National Committee for Communicable Diseases: All Reports and Analyses Confirm that there is no Epidemic Outbreak in Kfarabida
 
The Information office of the Ministry of Public Health issued the following statement:
 
As a follow-up to the cases reported in Kfarabida, District of Batroun, which were said to be communicable epidemics, causing panic among people, the MOPH National Committee for Communicable diseases presided by director General Dr. Walid Ammar held an emergency meeting and studied all the medical reports and analyses. The reported medical cases were found to be independent from each other, and they haven’t been proved to be communicable diseases so far. Therefore, there are no outbreaks of epidemic in the region. The Ministry would like to reassure the citizens that it will continue to monitor closely the health situation and will make publicly available any and all new information on the subject.
