شارك وزير الصحة في حكومة تصريف الاعمال د. جميل جبق في أعمال "منتدى الدوحة 2019" الذي تنظمه وزارة الخارجية القطرية على مدى يومين تحت شعار "الحوكمة في عالم متعدد الأقطاب" وذلك برعاية وحضور أمير قطر تميم بن حمد آل ثاني ومشاركة قادة دول ورؤساء حكومات ووزراء وسفراء ومسؤولين حاليين وسابقين، إضافة إلى نخبة من صناع القرار وأصحاب الفكر في مجالات السياسة والاقتصاد والطاقة والإعلام والثقافة وعدد من ممثلي المؤسسات العالمية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني.
وكانت مناسبة حضر فيها الوزير جبق إجتماعات عدة تناولت شؤونا صحية واقتصادية، كما عقد لقاء ثنائيًا مع  رئيس الوزراء القطري الشيخ عبد الله بن محمد آل ثاني.
وفي تصريح أدلى به لفت وزير الصحة العامة إلى "أهمية مشاركة لبنان في منتدى الدوحة في هذا التوقيت نظرًا للأوضاع الخاصة التي يمر بها بلدنا في هذه المرحلة"، مضيفا أن "المنتدى اختصر المسافات بين الدول وكان بمثابة ملتقى جامع يعزز منطق الإنفتاح على شعوب العالم".
ومعلوم أن المنتدى يبحث في قضايا عالمية مختلفة، في مسعى لإيجاد أرضيات مشتركة وحلول للتحديات المطروحة، ومن بين أبرز القضايا التي يبحثها الأزمات في سوريا واليمن وليبيا وأمن الخليج ومواجهة التطرف والتشدد في الدول الهشة.
ومن المقرر أن يعود الوزير جبق هذا المساء إلى بيروت.
