The MoPH Recommends Adherence to COVID-19 Preventive Measures, Stressing the Importance of Vaccination

بما أن جائحة كورونا لم تنتهِ بعد، وهناك العديد من المتحورات الجديدة التي تسببت في ارتفاع عدد الاصابات بكوفيد-19 في العديد من الدول لا سيما الأوروبية منها. ونظراً إلى أن نسبة الملقحين بجرعتين من لقاح كورونا في لبنان لا تتعدى الـ45%، ولأن التزام الاجراءات الوقائية من وضع الكمامة والتباعد الاجتماعي أصبح شبه معدوم في المجتمع اللبناني، واستناداً إلى تقارير منظمة الصحة العالمية التي تحذر من موجات جديدة لفيروس كورونا يتوقع أن تكون أقوى من حيث نشر العدوى، صدرت عن اللجنة الوطنية للأمراض الانتقالية في وزارة الصحة العامة التوصيات التالية:
 
  • التقيد بالإجراءات الوقائية من ناحية التباعد الاجتماعي وغسل اليدين ووضع الكمامة، لا سيما في المؤسسات العامة والتجمعات والمطاعم والأماكن المغلقة.
  • على المواطنين المسارعة إلى أخذ اللقاح، في حال عدم أخذ أي جرعة منه حتى الآن. إذ ثَبُتَ علمياً ان تلقي لقاح كوفيد بصورة منتظمة يخفف من الوفيات الناتجة عن المرض بطريقة ملحوظة، ويحد من مضاعفاته، لا سيما تلك التي تستدعي دخول المستشفى أو العناية الفائقة.
  • على كل من تلقى جرعتين من اللقاح، أخذ الجرعة الثالثة، مع التأكيد أن الجرعة الثالثة لن تزيد من احتمالات الإصابة بالآثار الجانبية للقاح.
  • بناء على التوصيات العلمية، أصبح بإمكان كل من مضى على تلقيه الجرعة الثالثة، أكثر من 6 أشهر، الحصول على جرعة رابعة من اللقاح من دون موعد مسبق من خلال خدمة "walk in" .
  • تشجع الوزارة على تلقيح الاطفال من عمر 5 الى 12 سنة بعد توافر اللقاح الخاص بهذه الفئة العمرية.
