The Ministry of Public Health Strongly Condemns the Targeting of Mays al-Jabal Hospital

 
وزارة الصحة العامة تدين بشدة استهداف مستشفى ميس الجبل: نحمل السلطات الإسرائيلية المسؤولية الكاملة عن تعريض حياة الأبرياء والمرضى للخطر


بيان صادر عن وزارة الصحة العامة:

تعبر وزارة الصحة العامة في لبنان عن إدانتها واستنكارها لاستهداف مستشفى ميس الجبل في جنوب لبنان ما أدى إلى جرح أحد العاملين الصحيين وتضرر قسم الطوارئ، في تحدٍ صارخ لكافة القوانين والمعاهدات الدولية.

إن استهداف المرافق الصحية والعاملين فيها يشكل انتهاكًا جسيمًا للقانون الإنساني الدولي، ويعرض حياة الأبرياء والمرضى للخطر. 

وان وزارة الصحة العامة، تحمل السلطات الإسرائيلية المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا العمل غير المبرر والذي كان سيؤدي إلى نتائج كارثية لو ان القذيفة المدفعية التي استهدفت المستشفى انفجرت. 

إن وزارة الصحة العامة تدعو المجتمع الدولي، ومؤسسات الأمم المتحدة، واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر إلى القيام بواجباتها في ضمان حماية المرافق الطبية والعاملين فيها، وضمان عدم تكرار مثل هذه الأعمال العدوانية. 

كما تطالب الوزارة بإجراء تحقيق شامل وعادل لمحاسبة المسؤولين عن هذه الجرائم.

إن حماية الصحة والسلامة العامة هي من أسمى الواجبات الإنسانية، ويجب أن تكون فوق أي اعتبارات سياسية أو عسكرية.
