كشف ميداني على مخيم عرسال للنازحين السوريين والحلو يرفع الصوت: لزيادة الدعم لليونيسف والاعداد التي يصرّح بها في الإعلام غير صحيحة


قام مدير العناية الطبية في وزارة الصحة العامة الدكتور جوزيف الحلو وممثلون عن منظمة اليونيسف ومنظمة الصحة العالمية يرافقهم فريق من الوزارة بكشف ميداني على مخيم عرسال للنازحين السوريين. وافتتح الوفد جولته في زيارة لمركز الرعاية الصحية الاولية في عرسال وجال في كشف ميداني على المخيمات ومن ثم عُقد اجتماع في مبنى البلدية بين الجهات المعنية تلاه مؤتمر صحفي.

وشرح الدكتور جوزيف الحلو انه بتوجيهات من وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور فراس الأبيض توجه الوفد اليوم الى منطقة عرسال لمعاينة الوضع الصحي فيها. وان الزيارة اليوم هي متابعة لزيارة قام بها فريق طبي للمنطقة من قبل وزارة الصحة الثلثاء الماضي العامة للكشف على المخيمات.

وأشار، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي، الى انه بعد الكشف الميداني اليوم "اذا استمر الوضع الحالي كما هو، نحن أمام احتمالية تفاقمه وقد يتسبب بكارثة صحية ليس فقط للنازحين في المخيمات بل أيضًا لاهالي عرسال والجوار". لافتًا الى أنه تبيّن ان المياه في آبار عرسال بعد فحصها غير مطابقة للمواصفات وغير صالحة للاستعمال البشري.

وكشف انه لغاية اليوم لم تسجّل اي حالة كوليرا وأنه بعد الاشتباه بعدد من الحالات اتت الفحوص المخبرية سلبية. كما شرح انه سُجّلت 123 حالة صفيرة فقط في منطقة عرسال 74% منها من النازحين السوريين. وقارن الدكتور الحلو الارقام بالعام الماضي حيث سجّلت 1290 إصابة في محافظة بعلبك الهرمل، معتبرًا ان الفارق اليوم هو تقليص تمويل الجهات المانحة لمنظمة اليونيسف مما انعكس بانخفاض بالخدمات المقدمة للنازحين في المخيمات.

وأكّد أن العمل لا يزال كالأعوام الماضية يسير حسب الأسس الصحيحة ولكن انخفاض الدعم دفع المعنيين لدقّ ناقوس الخطر. وشدد على أن منظمة اليونيسف لا زالت تقوم بأعمالها. وتمنى باسم وزارة الصحة العامة ولجنة البيئة النيابية على اليونيسف ان يوصلوا صرختهم للجهات المانحة بالقريب العاجل لزيادة دعم هذه المنظمة مما يساهم بزيادة كميات المياه المقدمة للنازحين السوريين وسحب مياه الصرف الصحي تفاديًا لأي تفشي للأمراض والأوبئة والتي قد تتفاقم مع اقتراب فصل الصيف.

ولفت الحلو الى ان وزير الصحة العامة يلقى تفاعلاً ايجابيًا خلال اجتماعاته التي يقوم بها في الولايات المتحدة الاميركية في موضوع زيادة الدعم للمنظمات الدولية في لبنان التي تعنى بشؤون النازحين. وهو يجري في المقابل اجتماعات مكثفة عبر تقنية زوم مع المعنيين في وزارة الصحة العامة والمنظمات والشركاء من بينهم اليونيسف ومنظمة الصحة العالمية.

وتمنى من الإعلام والجهات المسؤولة في عرسال والمواطنين الكرام عدم التداول بالمعلموات دون التأكد من صحتها إذ أن الاعداد التي يصرّح بها في الإعلام غير صحيحة.

بدوره تمنى النائب ملحم الحجيري على منظمة اليونيسف الرقابة على المشاريع في المنطقة.

وطالب بإنشاء شبكة صرف صحي ومحطة لتكرير المياه اذ ان الجور الصحية غير مؤهلة وغير مطابقة للمواصفات. وحث الجهات والمنظمات المعنية للاشراف عليها لضمان عدم تسربها الى المياه الجوفية.
