UNHCR Assures the Minister Abiad of Covering all Syrian War Wounded Known to Them


خصص وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور فراس الأبيض إجتماعًا عقده في مكتبه في الوزارة مع وفد من المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين في لبنان برئاسة نائب ممثل المفوضية في لبنان ترايسي مولفير، للبحث في موضوع التغطية الطبية للنازحين السوريين ولا سيما جرحى الحرب منهم.

يأتي الإجتماع في سياق الجهود المستمرة لتأمين التغطية المالية لعلاج جرحى الحرب من غير اللبنانيين ولا سيما السوريين منهم، وبناء على متابعات وجهود مشتركة مع منسق الشؤون الإنسانية للأمم المتحدة في لبنان السيد عمران ريزا.

وخلال الاجتماع أكد وفد المفوضية تأمين التغطية الطبية لجرحى الحرب من النازحين السوريين المسجلين حصرًا على لوائح المفوضية والمعروفين لديها  حتى سقف خمسة آلاف دولار وذلك في المستشفيات المتعاقدة معها؛ وأشار الوفد إلى العمل على توسعة مروحة المستشفيات المتعاقدة مع المفوضية تحسبًا لتزايد الحاجات في حال توسع العدوان الإسرائيلي على لبنان.

وشدد المجتمعون على ضرورة العمل سويا مع كافة الشركاء والمانحين لإيجاد حلول للسوريين غير المسجلين على لوائح المفوضية، لافتين إلى أهمية تقديم المزيد من المساعدات العينية من مستلزمات طبية وأدوية لتقوم وزارة الصحة العامة بدورها بتوزيعها على المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية في سياق الخطة الجاري تنفيذها لرفع الجهوزية.
