ترحب وزارة الصحة العامة بأي مبادرة تضامنية مع لبنان ولا سيما في المجال الطبي من قبل أطباء متخصصين أجانب، إنما يهم الوزارة أن تلفت النظر إلى أن ممارسة الطب في لبنان تحتاج إلى إذن مسبق من نقابة الأطباء ووزارة الصحة تطبيقًا للقوانين المرعية الإجراء وحرصًا على مصلحة المرضى.

ويهم الوزارة التوضيح أنه بالنسبة للأطباء أعضاء الوفود التضامنية الرسمية، يتم التنسيق في شأن أذوناتهم في شكل مسبق.

من جهة ثانية، وإحقاقًا للحق، تعيد وزارة الصحة إبداء تقديرها وشكرها للأطباء اللبنانيين المقيمين الذين بذلوا جهودًا جبارة متواصلة لساعات طويلة، على مدى الأيام السابقة، وأظهروا مستوى عاليًا من الإحترافية والتفاني في خدمة أهلهم ومجتمعهم.
