Hasbani Demands the Immediate Implementation of the Salary Scale Law for the Governmental Hospital Employees in the Cabinet
The Information Office of the Ministry of Public Health issued the following statement:
Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani called on to include the decree on the implementation of the new salary scale in the government hospitals in the cabinet’s agenda of the session that will be held next week to enforce the same as soon as possible, knowing that Hasbani has submitted it to the General Secretary of the council of Ministers more than one week ago.
If this couldn’t be achieved in a timely manner, the Minister of Public Health called on the implementation of the new 35 working hours at least as early as possible to preserve the rights of the gov hospital employees who have been waiting too long, and are making ultimate sacrifices.
It is worth noting that Minister Hasbani discussed with Prime Minister the possibility of setting up an appointment with the representatives of the gov hospitals employees more than one week ago to listen to their demands especially that six months have passed since the law was adopted. However, Prime Minister couldn’t meet the representatives because of his workload. I hope that Prime Minister would meet them at the earliest possible.
